A HUGE thank you to Sailability for providing the children from the Guardian ad Litem Program with a day full of wonder and excitement. The day on the water was better than a week of therapy!! Taking the helm of a sailboat and “being in charge” is something the children don’t get in their normal life. The volunteer staff made everyone feel comfortable and gave the children the opportunity to help with all aspects of rigging, sailing and putting the boats away. This was a huge sense of accomplishment for the children. THANK YOU!!
