Provided by Special Olympics Pinellas County, Certified Sailors and Special Olympics Athletes team up to train and race. Our sailors are involve in local, state, and regional events. Sailors from Special Olympics programs throughout the state come to participate with us here at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center.
With our program, you will learn to race and compete in regattas with a certified sailor and one of our accessible dinghies. Our Clinic prepares our sailors to be able to race in both local and national events.
With our team building sails and seminars, corporations and organizations can spend a day on the water learning as a team to race and to sail.
Our seminars for those in the medical professions can provide continuing education credits.
