From October 11th through the 14th, Sailability Greater Tampa Bay hosted the Never Say Never Pirate Camp at the Clearwater Sailing Center. Young sailors and their families from across the US and from England enjoyed several days of sailing, paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking and other on-water activities.
All enjoyed a fun trip to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, graciously donated by the Aquarium, to visit Winter, Hope, and their friends.
About Never Say Never Pirate Camp
Pirate Camp was established seven years ago for children with limb loss and their families. The Camp offers a wonderful experience for these kids to be kids. And, the families found a support and sharing of experiences. The exposure for the participants to our water sports along with other extreme sports experiences, showed them that they could do whatever they chose to do and “never say never”.
